In the heart of the French Alps, by the lake Bourget, remarkably located in front of Aix-les-Bains, our campsite is the ideal place for a beach holiday in the middle of a generous nature.
The campsite "île aux Cygnes" extends on a surface of 50.000 m2 directly on the south shore of the biggest natural lake of France with 150 m of private beach in gentle slope especially adapted to the children.
Equipped with 12 comfortable mobile-homes and lodges, pitches for tents, caravans and camper vans area, it allows everyone, with family or friends, to choose their ideal accommodation.
Opened on Lake Bourget, in a friendly atmosphere who pleases to the holidaymakers, “l’île aux Cygnes” is a real paradise for nautical activities (you can hire pedal boats and other kind of boat, canoeing courses can be arranged). It is also a popular destination for gastronomy and History lovers. The campsite is a great base for those wishing to explore the surrounding French Alps and all the most beautiful jewels of Savoy such the must-see sites as the Abbey of Hautecombe, Chambéry or Aix-les-Bains (for all these places of interest, guided tours are organized).

Thanks to its special location, “l’île aux Cygnes” in Le Bourget-du-Lac enjoys a unique microclimate.
For lovers of open-air vacations in contact with nature, our campsite offers shady camping areas with electricity and water, ideal for tents, campers, and trailers.
All our 229 sites are spacious and harmoniously arranged on grassy land, perfect for in-tent relaxation and allowing for easy and immediate access to all our services. Many also offer an enviable lake view.
Chalets and mobile-homes
Those who dream of vacationing in the open air but don't want to give up their amenities can choose to stay in our 12 comfortable lodges and mobile-homes, an ideal solution to spend your vacation in complete relaxation.
Our campsite has various types of Cottages that will surely satisfy your every requirement and need.
All our solutions are designed with care and divided into versatile spaces that meet the most varied of needs : each of structures each has a living room with a fully equipped kitchen corner, one to three bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Water, electricity are always included.
"Le Snack du camping"
Our totally renovated Bistro “le Snack” offers tasty regional dishes as well as international dishes and many kinds of plates. For a quick half-day break, cold dishes, sandwiches and fresh salads are served at the bar.
“le Snack” is open from 07.30 am to 22.00 pm and offers our guests drinks, ice cream, sandwiches and snacks.
The bar has a small terrace with a lovely view of the private port and you can enjoy your meal, relax and keep an eye on your kids enjoying the playground.
The private port
The international campsite "l'Île aux Cygnes ***" is the only campsite around Lake Bourget with its own private port reserved for its clientele who likes to fish and sail.
The port of the campsite has 44 mooring-rings and will allow you to fasten your boat and to go to navigate directly the Lake Bourget.
Daily price 5 € for a boat up to 2.20m wide and 7 € for a boat of more than 2.20m wide.

At the reception you can check-in on arrival and request further information also any needs concerning living, rentals and activities.
- Showers and public toilets in the sanitary group are constantly cleaned and sanitized (accessible to people with disabilities).
- In the central facilities group there are washing machines and dryers.
- At the Tourism office of Bourget-du-Lac, you can book excursions to visit the main places of interest of the area.
- Free WiFi is available throughout the whole campsite. Thanks to this connection, you can stay in contact with your friends and family on the social networks, or post photos of your holiday in French Alps. Feel free to post them on the campsite's Facebook page!
Activities at the campsite l'île aux Cygnes
Our sports facilities are at your disposal just a short distance from your rented mobile home or camping pitch. The different sports pitches to be found on our campsite will allow you to practice a wide range of different activities : just in a few minutes of the campsite, Tennis courts will delight all lovers of the little yellow ball, and will be the scene of some excellent games. Another racquet sport table tennis is also well represented here thanks to our ping-pong tables. For its part, the campsite’s volleyball area is also at your disposal to really get you in the team spirit! The campsite has several pétanque areas (French bowling), which regular campers and amateur boules players will certainly appreciate.
